A day at the Convento

Seven hectares, a day at your own pace

At Convento de Cabanas, each day unfolds at the natural pace of the estate.

The gardens awaken with the first light, herbs release their fragrance, and seasonal fruit ripens in the orchard. This connection to the land naturally finds its way into the kitchen, where our cuisine draws on the monastic heritage and the finest produce of the region.

Our workshops invite guests to discover traditional gestures, flavours and savoir-faire passed down through generations, through a cuisine that is simple, vibrant and free from artifice.

As evening falls, dinner lingers. The cloister grows quiet once more, and a few gentle piano notes accompany the end of the day.

Here, time is not something to fill.
It is something to savour.
